About OWIC
The Offshore Wind Industry Council (OWIC) has been bringing industry and government together since 2013 to accelerate the UK’s offshore wind sector. That partnership continues to drive real momentum - unlocking investment, innovation, and long-term supply chain growth.
Through the 2019 Offshore Wind Sector Deal, OWIC established the Offshore Wind Growth Partnership as an independent organisation focused on growing the UK offshore wind supply chain.
That founding purpose still drives everything we do.

OWGP’s funding comes directly from private offshore wind developers who are members of OWIC.
Developer contributions are brought together into a single fund that we manage and invest into UK supply chain through our programmes. While funding for our activities is provided privately through OWIC, our Board has the final say on funding decisions, ensuring fairness and objectivity.
